My best friend just bought the rifle and we broke the barrel in as shilen suggests you do on their custom barrels. Yesterday, we shot several loads I put together and nothing seemed to work. He shot some factory loads and they shot in the same hole. We decided to use those. He cleaned the rifle real good and went to the range today and the bullets wouldn't shoot a 3" group. He shot some of my other reloads and they 1 holed. This was after 5-6 rounds had been fired thru rifle and it had cooled. Why won't it shoot on a clean barrel? I have never experienced this before. I have numerous rifles that will shoot clean or fouled out. Most of my 700's shoot clean or dirty, hot or cold. Need help. We're going to Wyoming next week and he want's to solve this issue.
