.............I gotta admit , I don,t know nuthin about long range shooting ......I,ve made 3 ,1shot , on purpose over 400 yard kills on deer in my life and tried 3 other times , but the moment was gone ............................ ......In reading this thread there have been sevral references to 338 , from the 338 Federal up thru the 338/378 . with the 338/06 and 338 win mag specifically mentioned .............One of my favorite rounds is the 338 RUM , and the 338 is my personal smallest caliber for Alaskan big game hunting .......My current 338 Win Mag shows a real likeing for 275 grain bullets pushed as fast as it can go .....Can anyone recommend a site / book that has the REAL , not imagined drop of these rounds At 1 K yrds ect .......Thanks ...
