| If I am not mistaken, that rifle was discontinued. It used a MRC action. |

Can't address that particular model, but all the CZ rifles I've seen and shot were as good as any production rifle of the same caliber, and a lot better than some, particularly as regards out-of-the-box accuracy!

| The model 3 is not a CZ (Czech built) rifle. It was made here in the US from domestic parts.
Although it may be a decent rifle, don't automatically expect CZ quality or performance. |

No, I would expect better quality and function from a Montana Rifle Company action !!!

| It's my understanding it's a mrc barreled action. The barrel being not as finely lapped as their normal barrel. I've handled a couple and both had decent wood. The inletting wasn't great, gaps and such but it's a factory piece. I thought they seemed ok.

I was looking at their specs when they were on the marke tand they were a little on the heavy side for a short action, 7.5-73/4 lbs. If you don't do any mountain huntings then I'd guess they might work. Quality looks good. |
