I think you made a good choice. The finish on Ruger's is pretty shiny though. I got a teflon finish on mine and it is much more attractive to me.

Yes Mikelravy...I feel very comfortable about this one. Been a Ruger user since 1976 when I bought my first Super Blachawk.
None of them have let me down so far.

I´m also aware of the shiny barrels.
Some says it dosn´t matter, but I feel like tooting a white stick in the bushes, so I guess I will go for some camo tape as a starter.
Perhaps Bent have a solution ??
