Picked some up last week at Sportsman's Warehouse here in the US, so yes, they are available. As to how quickly you'll be able to get them in Oz I couldn't say.

I used a 168 on a black bear not long ago. Worked like a charm. I have about 8 boxes of the 168s and 10 boxes of the 180s.

I try to always aim for bone.

I picked up the 180gr TTSX at Sportsmans Warehouse as well the other day. Good price, same as Midway without the shipping (not to mention Midway is listing those as out of stock 30+ day backorder) Now I just need to find some reloading data for these!

Barnes recommends using TSX data for the TTSX which they provide for ten .30 cal chamberings.

Thanks! I've seen adds for the Barnes #4 with all these bullets in it, but I've yet to be able to put my hands on a copy yet

The data between the nr 3 and nr 4 manuals is way different. The TTSXs are not in the nr 4 manual though they do list the TSX, MRX, solids and originals. I'm using the nr 3 data for my 338-378 Wby and the numbers they quote are very close to what I was getting speed wise. No pressure signs at all. That said, the nr 4 manual shows MUCH less powder, MUCH lower velocities and they are being done out of a custom barrel for the Weatherby loads. I'm wondering if their data is based on "non Weatherby" freebore length.

Daniel,

Nioa had them in stock before I left for Namibia a month ago.

A friend of mine shot the 168's in his 300WM...it's got a barrel like a straw, but it shot really well.
