I own a FS in 9.3x62. It shoots so good with Lapua ammo, its hard to believe. From three rounds, two are most of the time touching. If I deduct half bullet diameter this should be 1" or slightly above. IMO the CZ bedding is EXCELLENT! I had to rebed a Win 70, would throw its shots otherwise! There is one big heap of BS above: there is more hunting done with scopes in Europe, than in the US!!! We are talking about much much less than 1% of killed animals there!! But Europeans like the looks of irons on the rifle, and the chance to take off the scope for a finishing shot or driven hunt ( in contrary to my guns, most do not check zero with the irons ... ) good shootin! aHunter-- The source of the above "BS" information as to hunting in Europe was "The Mannlicher Collector" in a back issue several years old. You may feel free to dispute the information with that organization and its publications if you so choose. We in the United States do have difficulty discerning European preferences and viewpoints in many venues. That is the reason for our existence as a nation, I do recall. | |||
