I found out that if you take a lee bullet sizeing die with a little case lube you can down size 10 thousands easy. Some times more depending on the bullet.

Just talk to the phone with another 9,3 user and he says no problem at all, that the piece is called in spanish trafilador, don't know the word in english. The owner of the die says it compress a little bit the original bullet. I don't know if they are talking about the same thing. LG

Lorenzo, .009" might not be enough to cause any problem but after sizing down bullets they tend to sprig back. lead does not spring back "up" as much as the jacket and you'll end up with a loose bullet. that is way manufacturers swage them "up" and not "down". saludos cordiales montero

I`m who use the conversion dies . I took the idea from an old swagging article and ask a die manufacturer here in Argentina if he coul made it for me. He agreed and after a great efort saing that he would never do it again made me two dies, one consisted of apir that bring first the bullets from .375 to .370 and the second stage fron 370 to 366. The other is to reform from 323 to 318 for the "j" line of old 8mm rifles that you find here in Argentina. My experience is that whith no solids it work very well ,with solids I could`nt bring it to .366 and stay in .3675. Hope this helps. greetly yours Guillermo
