I note the actions for the CZ Model 3 are made by MRC for CZ USA.



Neither of the two articles I have read on the CZ Model 3 mentions the internal Mauser-type receiver collar of the MRC action (the one available as an action only) as being a feature of the CZ Model 3. Neither mentions either that the action is available simply as an action, either. They both just mention it as a one-for-one clone of the Win pre-'64 M70 done in stainless steel for WSM cartridges.



Makes me wonder...is the action on the CZ Model 3 actually the same action as the MRC M1999 short action? Or, is it another similar but different action being produced by MRC?



I sure hope it is the same...would make finding a stock a heck of a lot easier/cheaper.



Anyone know for sure?
