I am looking at the CZ 550 in 9.3x63. I like the looks of the "humpback" European style stock on the full stock version, but not the short barrel. I thought in the past, CZ had a Lux model of the 550 that had the European stock (non full length) with a full length barrel. The current CZ catalog doesn't seem to have that model now. I've looked on some of the online gun auctions, but haven't found any yet. Am I mis-remebering, or was there a 550 Lux in 9.3x62 in the past?

They are still making them, but CZ-USA might not be importing them if there is no demand on this side of the puddle.

Thanks, I forgot about the CZ-USA importer versus the parent company. If anyone knows of a shop that has a 550 Lux in 9.3x62 I'd appreciate hearing about it. Thanks.

All you have to do is buy an American 9.3x62, a Lux Stock, add sights if you want, and then you have what you want.

Anything is possible if you want to spend the money!

You might consider the 550FS; the butt stock is the same hogback (Bavarian) design as the Lux and comes with sights. I don't think the 20.5" barrel is any handicap in 9.3X62.
