I have the 9.3X57 now and just wondering? Is the 46 as strong as the 146 for handloads? I don't see a gas relief hole in the ring of the 46. What is known about the strength difference in the two? TIA Packrattusnongratus

Do not load to hard in the 46, as it is built on a m94/38 action, which is not quite as strong as the 146 with its FN M98 action. However, if you don't exceed the loads recommended by Norma, you're safe. www.norma.cc

Amen to FritzKraut!!!! The 46 is just a basic Swedish Mauser action, the 146 was a FN 98.
