I picked up a 20 rd box of 30-06 Interarms 150 gr Soft Point ammo yesterday at a garage sale.

It looks like a military case (but stamped Interarmco) with crimped primers and sealer around the edges. Could even be corrosive for all I know.

Anybody have any idea how old this stuff could be?

this is a typical product of the late 1950s and early to mid 1960s. At that time, Interarmco flooded the market with large lots of cheap "hunting" ammunition which were rebuilt military surplus: using original cases and primers, and setting a new SP bullet. Commonly encountered are .303 British (150 grains) and 8mm Mauser (170 grains; these often very accurate). The re-assembly was done at large scale by Lapua and Norma on behest of Interarms.

Primers are the original military ones; thus .303 Br and 8x57 IS likely corrosive, .30-06 likely non-corrosive.

Late 50s, early 60s work by Interarms. They pulled the GI bullets and dropped in SPs. Treat the stuff as GI and you will be okay. I burned a heck of a lot of their 7x57mm ball and .30-06 back in the 60s.
