| I was kind of under the impression that tikka magazines are somewhat universal. Is the 340 wby unique to itself or would pretty much any "mag" m 995 magazine work? I guess the only requirement would be that it have about 3.700" of room?? I do have a tikka in 30-06 and can really really hang the bullet out in that magazine. (3.500" total) In my sako m995 30-378 I can hang em out to 3.730" |

| woodhick, glad you found the mags you needed. I know they have at least two different mags for the 995/TRG-S. My 25-06 uses "95-1" mags and my 338 Lapua uses "95-2" mags. I love my 995s/TRG-S rifles despite their detachable mags. I prefer a good floorplate over a detach every time for my hunting bolt rifles. John
There are those that do, those that dream, and those that only read about it and then post their "expertise" on AR!

| Bought this rifle at an online auction. Appears to have been shot very little...my first 995...
Appears to be at the upper end of practicality weight and cartridge-wise...I'm looking forward to load development and hoping the rifle's reputation for accuracy carries through with this particular one.... |
