366.

Made by Edger Kieiss in Mar 1941. Marked (341).

From Apel:
"Edgar Kiess was a Suhl gunmaker who was in business since 1935 through the end of World War II. He was a small maker who was not well known. I originally came from Suhl."

Thanks. I was wondering about the photo with the swing type 3 position safety. I have a M-98 and am considering the swing safety for scope clearance. Probably not significant with the EAW claw mounts. However with lower "permanent" rings it looks like The safety will hit the scope.
It could be my cold & flu medication making me neurotic as well! Confused

Here's a 2-position with steel weaver bases and millett rings. The 2-pos may be from ebay.

Thanks Lawndart.

I was thinking it would be more of a screamer if it was the same as the 9,3 Brenneke case but this one must be smaller in diameter.

Cheers,
Noel
