Mostly just ergonomic updates so it feels and handles better... The action is the same but they have improved the trigger  (bout time)...Anyway, it appears they've taken notice of the things shooters change/tweak to improve their rifles and incorporated them into a redesign.. From there they've simply updated the look and feel to be more appealing... They've also added the 338 Federal chambering and of course the 375 Ruger..... Ken....
