Johan i was in the loading room a few months back & did the same thing. I would leave the shoulder angle & body taper the same though just for slick feeding.

Johan I raised a question on this in the Big Bore forum and several people were building wildcats on 9.3x68 's. It sounds like a great round but I would leave it just with the same shoulder and case just necking up. I like slick feeding and do not like the current mania of straight walled cases and sharp shoulders. I like to hunt with them not shoot targets and prefer them to feed well in hot climates. The 9.3x64 interestingly uses the same bolt head in the Blaser R93 as the 8x68S and the 6.5x68. I guess it would just be personal preference to use a 9.3x64 or a wildcat 9.3x68.

Gentlemen Thanks for your reply's. I think that if one gives the 68 case the same angle as the 64, you would have a pretty good round in volume and feeding. This is actually more interesting than the new 9,3X66 from sako. I know that David Tooley has made wildcats oon the case in 7mm, 30 cal and 338. nitroX, Why are you telling me about this POS rifle, you must have missunderstood something. I have owned a blaser R93, but that is history by know D Humbarger, have you any idea of making this experiment come true? / JOHAN
