So, what's the concensus on the new action from Winchester?
As I understand it, they were having troubles getting the CRF to feed the short stubbies reliably. Does this new one work well? Seems like a good idea on paper....

Bwana-be,

The CRPF came about when USRAC was trying to put the WSM's in the 'Push Feed' system. Because of the cartridge stack, the rounds would jump out of the action as the bolt was moved forward, so the bottom of the bolt face was opened up to allow the cartridge to feed up under the extractor into the bolt face to control the round and the 'Fixed Blade' ejector was added to eliminate the interference with the plunger style ejector.

It seems to be working out O.K..

Headache
