Cornerstone, if you simply mean delays, HELL YEAH. I was so pissed by the time I got my first Nesika rifle (prior to Dakota buying them) that I had it sold before it arrived.

(the guy that bought it loves it BTW, & it shoots great)

So--my opinion is great product, lousy customer service/delivery, and that has probably been worsened with the Dakota acquisition.

I got a Nesika action after the company had been bought by Dakota and moved to Sturgis. The action was ordered, built and delivered on schedule. As most custom (BR) actions produced on request, delivery time was noticeable (10-16 weeks maybe?), but Nesika stuck to their schedule and the action was delivered as promised. I have also dealt with other custom action manufacturing shops, and Nesika did not seem any worse than the rest of them.

In the end, the rifle built on the Nesika is probably my most accurate overall. I know there are many other factors (barrel, smithing, bedding, stock, trigger, sights etc) that go into an accurate rifle, but at least I can say the Nesika action did not stop it happening.

I can well imagine the problems at Dakota may have caused delays from Nesika as well. Sad story about Dakota of late.

You hit nail on head with lousy customer service and I would go as far as to say liars. I sent them back copies of there e-mails and he still tells stories. We are pushing 19 weeks and are still a month out with there last guess. (Started as a 60 day delivery)

Thanks,
ED

Am I to take it that they will all lie just to get the job and keep up the act till they can recover and finish the job.

Don't get me wrong guys, Nesika was my first choice and if they would have said its gonna be 6 months up front I would not be mad right now.

They remind me of little kids trying to get out of a spanking.............just whinning and lieing

Thanks,
ED

When I am looking for an action, I always look to Brunos or one of the on line suppliers that quite often keep these in stock. Check the benchrest.com listings for action supplyers.

ED
