Hi there,

Does the 9.3 Sako really exist in the wild or is it found only on web sites and print catalogs?

Wink

I think that I've heard of one or two of them, but both were custom guns. Does anyone know whether Sako is going to try to make the 9.3x66 fly, or whether they've already written the project off?

One of our Canadian Correspondents has a factory issue 9,3 x 66 that he has been shooting. He is bear hunting with it in a few weeks.

Mine is a switch barrel on an A-III action, and very accurate.

I have factory brass on hand, and more on the way.

I have the nicest reamer and gauge set in North America, based on factory brass.

Berretta likely won't import to the US any time soon, if ever. In the meantime I will keep shooting my 9.3 x66 Sako in the wild.

I was afraid the answer would be something like this. The cartridge seems like a nice design. I was hoping that it would take off.

Not to worry,

All you ned is two hundred pieces of brass and you are set for a long time.

Very easy to form from 30-06 basic brass.

Dave Kiff has the reamer print available at Pacific Tool & Gauge.

Any decent 30-06 or 270 makes for a good donor gun.
