Hi, anyone had one installed in their Remington 700? What are your impressions of the trigger?

Thanks,

Chuck

Isn't there something about, that the Shilen trigger comes without a safety? If you want a safety, you either have to install a 3-pos safety on the shroud, or fiddle with using the safety parts off the Rem factory trigger?

They are a good trigger. I have three of them.

As for the safty, just use the lever off the factory Remington. You will be fine.

Does the Shilen trigger use the existing Remington 2 position safety? I have no problem if it does, myself and the boys are used to it.

Thanks,

Chuck

I've used both Shilen and Jewell. The Jewell is definitely superior, though more expensive.
