Hi, anyone had one installed in their Remington 700? What are your impressions of the trigger? Thanks, Chuck Regards, Chuck "There's a saying in prize fighting, everyone's got a plan until they get hit" Michael Douglas "The Ghost And The Darkness"

It is a great trigger and priced right. Jim Kobe 10841 Oxborough Ave So Bloomington MN 55437 952.884.6031 Professional member American Custom Gunmakers Guild

Isn't there something about, that the Shilen trigger comes without a safety? If you want a safety, you either have to install a 3-pos safety on the shroud, or fiddle with using the safety parts off the Rem factory trigger? - mike ********************* The rifle is a noble weapon... They are a good trigger. I have three of them. As for the safty, just use the lever off the factory Remington. You will be fine.

Does the Shilen trigger use the existing Remington 2 position safety? I have no problem if it does, myself and the boys are used to it. Thanks, Chuck Regards, Chuck "There's a saying in prize fighting, everyone's got a plan until they get hit" Michael Douglas "The Ghost And The Darkness"

I've used both Shilen and Jewell. The Jewell is definitely superior, though more expensive.
