I understand Sako has stopped making this rifle? Can one still be found? How much $$$?

Yes they stopped this model, and now have the new model 85 out. I do not care for the stock design as its identical to the Tikka T3. Nothing wrong with the T3 as I have 2 LS models. I just like the Sako m75 version. If I remember correctly, the feed is suppose to be a controlled-round feeding rifle now.

I have 3 of the Sako m75 SS models.

The model 75 are still out there.

what calibre would you go for in the sako 75 SS?
there are still a few floating around over here, although being in alabama that doesnt help you so much, what with the exchange rate and all

Maybe try DNRsports.com, he has a few of the 75's listed. not sure if they actually have them in stock though.

I SPOKE with a Beretta rep not long ago, 75's completely cease production this fall.

They are out there, but I would not give as much for one as the newer 85 as it may offer some newer features that you might want.
