I have no affiliation with the seller, other then getting a smoking deal on a Dan Wesson specialist from this seller . They have a collection of new unfired guns they bought from an estate. Hundreds of guns. They had this Barnard Palma 308. Seems kind of rare. Just go to Gunsamerica and search Barnard. Would seem to me that used $2k would be average, but this is new and unfired. They have some other long range rifles and custom rifles.

So this is a Barnard $1200 action (with trigger). Barrel $400? Then all the gunsmithing. $2k sounds good. This may be an early in Mountain Guns (MT) production, per Cheesbro ,may may be one of the early rifles done in Zephyr Cove Nevada. Tube gun. I would buy it but I have a nice Steyr SSG match single shot I still need to master. Nice condition, english iron sites.

I remember over 15 years ago they used to advertise in P.S. "Precision Shooting "magazine That dealt with the pinnacle of accuracy. They used to be located near Lake Tahoe. They advertised their exclusive action and benchrest gunsmithing. If the barrel is not burned out it is built to tighter tolerances than the Steyr SSG. No offense intended. THe price is fair. You could get more information if you post under the benchrest section.

Sorry, I missed your posting almost a year ago! Someone bought it!. The Steyr I have is not a SSG , it is an SSG Match. Steyr took 10 SSG's and shot them to get the most accurate, and made it a single shot in a large match wooden stock. You don't see these often. As I only have a 300 yard range around here, that should be fine. The Barnard was more for 800 yard. More photos Some more photos
