Thanks for your load and particularly your rifle info. I am shooting two 6.5 PRC's one a Sauer with 24 inch barrel and a Ruger with 26 inch barrel. best load so far is with the Sauer and a 130 grain Barnes TSX that will Chrony 3155 fps with 63 grains of Magpro. The Ruger shoots the same bullet in a half inch ragged hole and I have yet not put it across my Chronograph, but will soon. Will try other bullets when time permits. Good Shooting.

3155f/s that's smokin. My nephew got a Mossberg. We didn't chrono any of the ammo. He had 3 different ones and the Hornady 140gr shot the best 3 shot groups were inside 3/4". he is taking it hog hunting Texas next month.

I'm using 55 grains of R-26 behind a 127 grain LRX bullet, chronographed at 3100 from a Pacnor barrelled Kimber 8400. Easily shoots under an inch.

The weather cooled up and I got to break out the ole Oehler 39-P and shoot a few groups with both the Sauer 100 and Ruger precision rifles. Sauer 100 with 24 inch barrel and 130 grain Barnes TSX 63 grains Magpro Fed 210M primer 3169 fps with two shots touching and the third .2 inch to the left. Ruger Precision with 26 inch barrel same load 3178 fps two shots touching and the third .3 inch to left. Also shot 127 grain Barnes TRX with blue tip 63 grains Magpro 3169 fps one inch group with the Ruger Precision. I thought the longer barrel would give more speed but the Oehler did not show that. Just more information on the 6.5 PRC proving to be exceptionally accurate in both rifles. Good Shooting.

More shooting with the PRC rifles. Sauer 100 two groups with 130 grain Barnes TSX and 63 grains Magpro chronographed 3188 fps. with one group and 20 minutes later same load chronied 3219 fps. Same temperature, same accuracy but faster, go figure. I must say I never question the Oehler. The Ruger Precision also shot the same load in the 3180 fps range with a ragged hole three shot group. Very pleased with both rifles, Particularly the Sauer 100 because it has a 3X9 Ziess Conquest mounted on it and does near 3 shots touching at 100 yards. Having fun with these two rifles and now have great respect for that 6.5 or .264 bullet at the speeds I am getting. Good Shooting.
