I looked over the gun library at our local Cabelas and came up with a great find.

Remington Sportsman 78 short action (700 basically)
Shilen Select 22" featherweight SS barrel
in 7mm-08. Barrel by Shilen with accurizing.
McMillian Woodland Camo Remington Mountain stock.
Burris rings/bases and Signature 2-8x32 scope.

Gun is 6.25 lbs. Sure is gorgeous and in initial load testing shoots great. Best group .378 w/120 ballistic tips and H380.

Gonna be a great little rifle for my son next year.

I think I got a great deal at $750.00. Plus I had a coupon for a $150.00 gift card if you spent over $500.00 which bought me my dies, brass and lots of bullets.

How can you sleep at night taking advantage of them like that..........

I think your son would be better of with some other rifle. Why don't you send the whole set up to me, and I'll personally test it for a decade or so.

I wish they would put some deals like this on their inernet gun library. Everything listed there is way overpriced.
