Good Morning All, can anyone tell me where I might purchase some of the above mentioned ammunition? I expect it will have to be custom loaded but never having done any reloading, this may be a safer way to go than 'rolling my own' Thanks in anticipation, Nikky

There seems to always be some available on the gunbroker and auctionarms websites. You can also try Old Western Scrounger.

You might try doing a web search for "Kynoch Ammunition". I know the "old" Kynoch used to provide it, loaded with 247 gr. SN bullets (I think that was the bullet weight...memory is getting shorter by the day). When I was talking with the new owners of the Kynoch brand name in '98 at the S.H.O.T. show in Vegas, it seemed they were planning on providing darned near everything Kynoch ever loaded by way of sporting ammo. Won't be cheap, but should be good quality, if they do indeed make it now. BTW, sounds to me like a really good excuse to get into hand-loading. Loading of usable ammo is easy, and fun! Just load very moderately powered stuff until you learn the game... AC

Thank you both for your help in this matter. I have found a source for old Kynoch ammunition, probably more than I need! I understand that it is Berdan primed but the price is right. Let me know if you know anyone who needs some. I appreciate your imput, Nikky
