Just picked up a Sako 75 Finnlight 7-08. Looking forward to playing with it at the range and then chasing Mulies in Wyoming in 2010. Any load recipes you wish to share? I have plenty of 139-160gr bullets from my other .284 caliber reloading projects.

Of course you need to work up the loads but 42 grains of Varget pushing at 140gr Accubond is 1/2 MOA in my Rem 7-08 at 2770 fps. 45 grains of Varget will push a 120 TTSX to 3077 fps. So far the TTSX is only 1 MOA but I haven't played with the seating depth yet. Varget is awesome on the lighter side. I am biased to Hodgdon powders, check out there web site for relaoding data on Win, IMR and Hodgdon powders. I ran some H4350 in the 140 gr bullet and had velocities that were a little higher than the Varget but they didn't group quite as well. Varget is a great powder for the sub 150 gr 7/08's. Above that you probably need a little slower powder.
