I don't need another gun, but these intrigue me. They come, I assume from Sweeden. If you were to hunt small deeer with one what bullet would you use? Also, with the small ring (I assume a 96) how Fast could you load it. capt david

I'm patiently waiting for my first one to arrive. It's a Husqvarna model 46 which is a '94, not a '96. Best I can tell, they went from the '94 straight to the '98. I'm going to stick with 250 gr bullets for now but you can get 232, 286 and 320 but I suspect the 320s can't be driven fast enough in the 57 case. Nominal velocities for the 250 should be around 2200-2250 fps.

Forgot to mention the 270 gr Speer bullet.

I wouldn't load a 94 or 96 like I would a mod. 98..In fact I wouldn't have a 9.3x62 in anything but a Mod. 98 action...

But it will work well enough at mild velocities..I would use a 286 gr. Nosler with a mild load, that should serve you well on anything on this side of the ocean...You can't drive the 320 gr. Woodleigh fast enough in that action for it to do good work IMO...and the 250 gr. has no advantage over the 286 in a 9.3x62...
