I'd be interested in your opinions/experiences, pro or con, on this rifle in this caliber; particularily as to manageable recoil in such a lightweight gun. (6 lb. 13 oz. without scope)

My son has one and he love it! The recoil isnt bad, the montana's haave great stocks and recoil pads. I feel it is like a 30.06 in some other rifles. The rifle feels big when I handle it but not to him. We have several Kimbers and I like the feel of others better but that is just me. I think you get alot for your money with them. But I also like alot of other rifles!
