Trying this here because those boys in "gunsmithing" don't seem to know about anything except Mausers. No flames please...I have several Mausers and love em.
I have an A Bolt Stainless Stalker (LH) .270 which I'm planning to sell and would like to be able to tell a prospective buyer the difference between the old/new models. Does the A Bolt II have any real improvements over the origional? Any info appriciated. Thanks...

I have 3 A bolt ONES. Comparing them to an A Bolt II, the major change was in the bolt. Supposedly the bolt would bind up in the first series. I have never experienced it.

I have noticed some change to the stock in the area of the pistol grip,. It is beefier on the A Bolt 2. I like that better.
However I like the bolt appearance on the A bolt one better.

Can't verify this, but I was also told that the trigger is adjustable in the 2nd series and not in the first. Factory triggers in the 1st series, could use some work, at least the 3 that I own.

Cheers and Good shooting
