I used to post here a bunch on the old forums. I still lurk from time to time. I just received a Kiff reamer and a Hart 1/10 barrel. I am looking for some good loads shooting 225-250s. The rifle will be a blue printed 700 mostly for east coast stuff. I will be using Norma/Weatherby brass. Will the 1/10 handle a 300 grain Woodliegh?

Give H4350 & RL19 a try under your 225-250gr bullets. I would think a 1/10 would handle the 275-300gr bullets fine. LIFE IS NOT A SPECTATOR'S SPORT!

Blue--I would start wuht IMR 4350, that is what I've used in my 338/06 and with the 250's and 275's. I've never shot the 300's in my 338/06 but in my 340 they shoot very well. I'd give them a go and see what happens. The Speer 275 is a very accurate slug for me as well. Good luck Mark D

I have a killer 280AI. I keep leaning towards the big slugs for some reason. Do not really need the extra smack. I have not had any luck using Reloader stuff other then 10X. I was looking at H4350 and maybe H414. I have some 4350 RL 19 and 22 so I will give it a go there. Thanks a bunch Merry Christmas. I am sure I will have another question or two. I think this is going to be a fun project.
