Looking at the 350 Rem Mag for blackbear and elk at a range of 20 to 200 yards. Anyone shoot this caliber..? Would like to hear how it performed on game and with what bullet you used.
Thanks, T/C Nut

I've used it on moose, deer, elk, and bear, works great. 250 gr Speer. Mine (at least the current one) is built on a 98 action, to let me load the cartridge to a longer col. Gets me 2615 fps with the 250 gr bullet. Works very, very well. - dan

I plan on rebarreling my XP-100 single-shot center-grip pistol to the 350 O.A.L's should not be a problem at all. I'm hoping to get around 2550+fps with a 200gr bullet out of a 17" tube.

ahhhh shouldn't be to bad heck I shot that elk in my Avitar with a 16.5" 300 Win Mag Encore pistol with/out a muzzle brake. I may need a brake tho for the 350 but, I'll try it with/out first.

Like the .358 and .35 Whelen, it is MORE than just a short-range rifle, if the right (spitzer-type) bullets are used. It has about the same case capacity as the .30/'06 or .35 Whelen, and performs about like the .35 Whelen. It deserves at least a 22" barrel, and does give you the advantage of working in a short action, thus saving some weight over the Whelen.
