New stock for BAR -- where?

I have a .30-06 BAR carbine, and the stock has several cracks in it. Any suggestions on where I look for replacements?

Is this a job I can do at home, or should a gunsmith be involved?

If your gun is fairly new, you can or may have to get parts directly from Browning.

Bell & Carlson makes a pretty decent synthetic stock for the BAR. Worked very well, I wanted to save a beautiful set of wood from the rigors of a hard Elk hunt ... worked out well.

Thanks for the replies.

Is this a do-it-yourself sort of thing, or should I hire it out?
