Have never crimped an X TSX or TTSX except the 168 in the 300 WinMag because the Barnes manual sez to. Have yet to meet a rifle with a decent barrel that won't shoot sub MOA groups with them. With TSX and TTSX you'll never shoot enough for cleaning to be an issue. I clean my R-1 after the bullet box is empty. 150 TAC TSXs shot 5 in 1" from the first five to number 46-50.Then I'll clean it but more because is a gas gun than the bore's inside. IME most Barnes problems can be traced to one thing: Not buying the Barnes manual and not following it. Mono metals are different, regardless of who makes them. Barnes are the only hunting bullet I use in breechloaders (including 12 bore shotguns) and have yet to lose an animal and only shot one twice (which was needless, but when in doubt, keep shooting). | |||
