The information that I have is the serial numbers for 1963 ended with 581471. Yours should have been made in 1950. What caliber? My uncle has a 1951 in 300 H&H that the barrel is marked 300 Magnum. From what I have learned they started marking them 300 H&H in 1951. Maybe a leftover barrel from 1950? His rifle has the best trigger I have ever felt. Auburn University BS '09, DVM '17

The date will be marked under the barrel near the recoil lug.. Ray Atkinson Atkinson Hunting Adventures 10 Ward Lane, Filer, Idaho, 83328 208-731-4120 rayatkinsonhunting@gmail.com
