I like the 180 gn BT's. In 8mm they are pretty tough as BT's go and are plenty bullet for deer and very accurate. IMR 4064 was THE powder in mine. Rlr 15 is not bad either.

For tougher game I would suggest the 195 gn Hornady or S&B ammo with 196 gn loads.

47 gr IMR4895, 200 gr, 2630 fps, 1" 5 shot group 100 meters
50 gr IMR4895 sticky bolt
52 gr IMR4895 very sticky bolt

It's one that is equipped for measuring pressure. These days, that's not very difficult or expensive.
