What is the value of a Winchester M70 in 270 Win from the custom shop in new unused condition?

Thanks,

John

in the box? Blue or stainless? Walnut or synthetic? Featherweight or standard? Pick a number from $600 to $1200. The 270, while an excellent cartridge, is not a very desirable one, unless you are filling in a hole in a collection or a Jack O'Connor fan.

I would say any of the Custom Shop guns would start in the $2000.00 range regardless of chambering.

Okay, I have a few more details. There is no "custom shop" documentation. It is also older then I thought.

270 Win
24" brll

It is kind of heavy but the wood has me drooling.

Thanks,

A mod 70 classic cerca 93 would fetch around $750-$800 in the private market assuming no fancies are isntalled.

I think any new or almost new mod 70 is worth double the original sticker price. If you got a really nice piece of wood on it then triple.Triple also for big bore calibers. There is always someone out there who will try to buy things for nothing. The other day some y asked me if I had a rifle I wanted to sell.I thought about it and told him that the only one that I might sell was a Sendero stainless. He said that he was looking for a scoped rifle he could buy for around 250 dollars.I told him to forget it.

My sentiments exactly. If your looking at something in the $1500.00 range or above, I recommend that you find a pre-64 model 70 instead.
