Gonna do some load development for a buddy. Looks like RL-25 is the most accurate in the Nosler Manual for the 160's Any recommendations?

II've only loaded for one and it liked 7828 but I don't think RL25 was around. MRP did well as well. As usual just my $.02 Paul K

I have been shooting IMR 7828 in my 7mm WBY Mag for some time now and find it to be a good choice. Recently I had to try to develop some new loads due to the dumb ass CA laws regarding lead bullets. Since I was going to try the Barnes TSX in this rifle I decided I would try RL 25 as well. Turns out with proper loads it is about a toss up in my rifle, IMR 7828 or RL 25 both shoot quite well and give similar velocities though the RL 25 did go just a little faster. I wound up using the same charge of IMR 7828 with the 160 grain Barnes TSX that I had been using with 160 grain Nosler Partitions. R Flowers

Take a hard look at Ramshot Magnum also. It excels in my 257 wby, and others also have tried and really liked Magnum, not effected by temperatures, is a spherical powder, and goes thru the powder thrower like a charm. Socialism works great until you run out of the other person's money......

I've had good luck with R22 and IMR7828, but see no reason why R25 wouldn't work as well. Good Luck Reloader
