This spring's dream hunt is Grizzly Bear in central northern BC. Also still after this big old black bear boar a little west of here. This fall it will bugling in elk in central northern BC again.

Living in BC we are truly fortunate.

A 30 day guided hunt in Alaska for two animals, with my two sons and a professional guide. Definitely would be nice to have some scouting on horseback included, buit that would not be mandatory.
The hunt would be for grizzley using my 1938 vintage model 70 in 375 H&H then using my model 71 Winchester in 348 caliber to take a moose.
The trip would include the drive from Texas through Canada, pulling my utility trailer with a deep freeze to hold the meat, should we be successful.

I kind of feel like i am in the dream right now. I thank my wife everyday for the support she gives me.
Just got back monday from a Free Range "no Bait" hunt in texas in some big old rugged Moutnains where I shot a Persian Ibex, An Aoudad, and axis buck, 2 axis does, and a wild hog sow.
In may i'll be wild boar hunting for the second time in Ca. Went in January and didst see anything cuase it was like 23 degrees.
Free range sikas again in October and December here in the swamps here in Maryland.
MT. Lion in Utah in December with a Conservation tag that I won/bought.
And 2 weeks ago I found out that I won a Once in a Lifetime Tag for Oryx on the White Plain Missle Range in New Mexico next March.
I really love my wife.
The only thing we ever fight about is if I am going Brown Bear hunting in seven years when I turn 40.
My kids are still two young to hunt, but I cant wait till I can bring them along.
Thanks for asking,
W.SmilerSmiler

Mine would be floating along somewhere in the inside passage in a nice yacht glassing for black bear. When you find one, take the skiff ashore, put on a stalk and bring one home. In the mean time enjoy fresh seafood beautiful scenery and good company. Achievable would be to book a hog hunt in texas. I would love to shoot pigs but never had the chance. DW

Dream hunt - Senora Desert trophy mule deer, either bow or rifle.

Right now, I can almost afford to step out the back door and take a limb rat off the high line, with the pellet gun.

The next option, which is more out of necessity is heading to the country this weekend to mow, and hopefully catching a hog out while heading down to the pasture.

Secondary to the mule deer hunt, would to be with my grandson this fall and him taking his first buck. He will turn 9 this Nov. and has a few hogs and a doe to his credit. He is a trooper and has been shooting since he was just past 3. Then I have his younger brothers to bring into the sport as well. So in reality I guess my goals are to simply be with them when they get their first game or trophy.

Other than that, I am pretty much locked up until archery season opens up in Oct.

Almost anything I could afford. I have just about found myself priced out of the game.

If I can find the toilet bowl in the dark when I have to pee at 03:00 in the wee hours. Well, that is an achievable dream for me these days.

John ; Perhaps this might help with the darkness issue . An extremely piss poor aim misses this one !.

+1 on that.
Guess I'm just a lucky guy. I exercise my dream hunt about every 2 years. Sheep hunting in the Brooks. We're leaving on Aug. 10 this year & will be back on the 25th. There's just something about a beautiful Dall ram looking down at you from the top of a mountain and outlined against a blue sky. If I could, I'd go up there the first of July & not come back until Labor Day. Never had a desire to hunt Africa tho for some reason.
Wayfaring -
If I could, I'd invite you to come along with us. It'd be a great trip.
Hope ya'll realize that one dream hunt.
