Stopped by Wally world last week and found that they had a few good items on sale. I picked up a can of Gun Scrubber for $5, a can of Outers bore foam for $5, an Outers gun cleaning kit with a solid brass rod, brass brush, patch jag, solvent, oil, etc for $5, and a Butler Creek flip up scope cover for $5. They had a few other items on red tag sales as well, even had the Leupold Rifleman 2-7x32s on for $139.

Ya'll have a good one,

I use the Bore foam on heavily cruded Military rifles. It also does a great job on my lead shooters. It really goes a long way. The best bore cleaner for those rifles that spent time in Stalingrad. jp

Foaming bore cleaner is the bomb. Forget scrubbing. Just use it. I usually do three cycles of foaming bore cleaner, then a few patches with solvent and voila, clean rifle bore. Never again will I waste the time to run patches and brushes when I can spray this and do something else.

I love the Outers bore foam. It's the best solvent I've found. I used to use copper solvents, wet patch, wait, scrub, wet patch, wait, scrub etc etc. With boar foam, I place my rifles in the cradle, squirt the foam in, come back later and run a few dry patches through. It works great for removing copper. I use it at the range as well. I usually have several rifles to shoot so when I need to clean one, I spray the foam and let it sit for around 15 min. The good thing about the foam is it doesn't damage the bbl, you can leave it in all night long if you want. I like to spray it in my rifles the night before I'm going to the range and let it sit until morn, run a few dry patches through, and load the truck.

Try it, you'll like it.
