I bought a .243 Kimber Montana early in the summer. Average groups are around 3/4". I am fine tuning a load using H414 and 58 gr V-Max's that, last week, produced a .178 and a .323 three-shot group at 100 yds. I picked up a 8400 FW .300 WSM today. It has beautiful wood very similar to yours. If it shoots as well as the .243 I will be completely happy.

Gotta love that!!!!!! You Lucky Dog. Groups like that really solidify the arguments with the spouse that its not just another gun, it's an investment!

Excellent shooting and a beautiful rifle. Looks and shoots better than many so called custom's. I bought four Kimbers in the last year. They are the rifle of the year for me! My 270 WSM is a 3/4 MOA rifle most of the time. Magpro is the powder I use too. I don't like ball powder at all but this rifle does. Here are a couple of 84M's that have nice wood.
