I need a good load for a 160 gr. Accu-bond in a 7mm Rem Mag. velocity is like a new car, always losing value. BC is like diamonds, holding value forever. | ||

I seat the bullet out longer than std 3.29" In my rifle I'm 4 grs above the Nosler max of 63grs. The various lotts of Rl22 have given me a several grain difference in max load so work up with caution. As usual just my $.02 Paul K | |||

Retumbo and Nosler Accubonds are my favorite. The Hodgdon site has the loads I use. RL22 is my 2nd favorite (very accurate) but it losses vel. at the colder temps Ramrod 340's load is one of my favorites but work up to it 1/2 grain at a time. | |||

63 grs Rl22..right around 2850 FPS....very accurate and just kills stuff dead like deer and elk.... | |||

Sixty three grains of H4831 and a 160 grain Partition works good with my rifle. Regards, Keith | |||

There is a wide variation of throats on 7mm mag rifles and it can affect the max load by several grains. Always start low and work up.In the four 7mm Rem rifles I've owned and several others I've loaded for all liked 7828 with 160 gr bullets.Suggest starting at 65 grs and work up. I've found max loads to be in the 68 to 70 grs range. Your rifle may be less so watch for pressure signs. | |||
