During all this excitement I neglected to thank you for your favorite 708 140TSX data.. I will go with the 140TSX for the 7-08 and 120TTSX's for the 7SAUM..
Thanks again.

Performance wise there is really nothing to decide between any of the non-magnum 6.5mm - .270 - 7mm cartridges. But none come anywhere close to the availability of the .270 Winchester in the U.S. as well as most of Europe and Africa. .270 Win is my go to cartridge for game under 350 pounds.

7mm-08 is a wonderful cartridge, but if you and your rifle get there and the bag with your ammo doesn't, you'll wish you'd gone with a .270.

Old age is a high price to pay for maturity!!! Some never pay and some pay and never reap the reward. Wisdom comes with age! Sometimes age comes alone..

Bartsche,

This was the couple of days that BigStick/Busheler/Whirlwind was doing his best to blow up the forum. I was stuck in Galveston with nothing to do so I was playing the game "mine is bigger than yours" to kinda distract him, turned out we kinda' hijacked the thread.
