I knew you guys would be great! I haven't quite figured a final solution yet, but now have a lot of good ideas. Wish it was as easy as sex, though. We have great sex, often, at the craziest places. I don't think he would even notice a change! (that is my secret of how you stay married for a long time) I couldn' say I traded it, he'd want to know WHAT I traded... it would definately not be another rifle, or my other passion, the dragbike, so that would leave me in a real pinch. I hate to do this, but I'll probably have to resort to plain old bribery. I have to see how hard I can squeeze the dollar bill between now and this summer. Hubby loves big caliber handguns (I bought him the S&W 50 cal for his 50th birthday earlier this year), so I just might see if I can afford to buy him the Magnum Research 45-70 in a handgun. I think it is around $800 or so. That way I can say I spent $2000 for 2 items...., but he wouldn't care at that point, I'll just have to wait to father's day to pick everything up and make my daughter an accomplish. I must say... being a good wife is awfully expensive. But, if all else fails, that usually works. I wonder if other wives have such a hard time!!!! But, this rifle is definately worth a little effort.

All it would take for me is a statement like,"honey, I am a woman and I love guns and just bought some more and you can shoot them too." when I came back around I would not mind. The sex should be thrown in as well though. the rest of you all must know too many women that love guns because I am excited any time a girl wants a new gun. Red
