I just found out the guy that has built several rifles for me has closed up his shop.

I have a buddy that wanted a 9.3 x62 built and I have a project rifle in mind as well


So what I need is a recommendation for someone capable of building a 9.3x62 in the eastern Wyoming area (Gillette, Casper, Laramie, Cheyenne).

Downrange GS in Sheridan, Craig has done good work for me on two projects. Tig welded a Winchester model 70 Classic Stainless bolt (two piece bolt pressed together) and did some chamber reaming for me on a 458 Winchester. I thought he was reasonable. Very happy with the work.
