Why no CZ 9.3x62 in safari or medium magnum configuration? It is, after all, both poweful and african in flavor. Just wondering. Matt Matt FISH!! Heed the words of Winston Smith in Orwell's 1984: "Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right."

The 9.3 comes with sights in the hogback, FS version. Add open sights to the American verion, and you have a safari rifle. ------------------------------- Will / Once you've been amongst them, there is no such thing as too much gun. --------------------------------------- and, God Bless John Wayne. Suprise! CZ-USA does not import every single model that CZ makes into the USA. They probably do not think the market is big enough. My owners manual from 2004 lists four models in 9.3x62: There is a nice Battue version that I would like to see. Also a Lux with sights, FS with full stock, and Standard with no sights and a thin butt pad. The American version looks similar to the "Standard".

Walter Look up CZUB and you will see a bunch of stuff that will never see KC USA. Odd to me looking but made for the Swedish market and I understand that once upon a time there were some battue's imported. I know my gunsmith talks about having one go thru the shop 4-5 years ago, and he picked up a battue SAKO from somewhere on a trade that is a long time resident of his gunsafe. Ron.
