I may go on a mule deer/antelope hunt this fall and was wondering if anyone had any loads lighter than 200 grs for the 8MM Mag. and if they had any experience with them on these animals. I've always shot 200 gr speer at 3,000 fps and had excellent luck. I've shot elk, hogs, and black bear with this load but was thinking of shooting some 150's at about 3,400 fps but was worried about bullet performance at this velocity.

Stick to your proven load. The 150's will come apart. They are made for 8mm Mauser velocities.
