That was seriously bad shooting- missed clean twice! Must have been some yaho that doesn't check his scope but once a year!

Folks, I don't believe that either shot was fired at the deer.

Whoever was doing the shooting was aiming at the rabbit, and that ain't a "Trophy Buck" 130 B&C at best and that ain't a trophy in Texas.

Even the rocks don't last forever.

Looking at the deer that I've seen taken from several of the west Texas ranchs I've hunted on that buck would have been something to brag about.

High fence south texas nope

If he was aiming at it or not the bullet impacted basically the same spot. So maybe he was shooting at the rabbit. What then the second shot?

I think the scope was off.

As usual just my $.02

From the amount of time it took for the first shot, he must have been mounting his scope on the rifle in the blind on the first day of the hunt. He took the term "out of the box accuracy" way too seriously

Looks like BS to me. You can hear the bolt working but when he misses, you don't hear: "Oh shit!" Probably staged to be filmed.

Don't ask me what happened, when I left Viet Nam, we were winning.
