Great caliber, but you can accomplish the same thing with a very long throated standard 7x57....My very long throated Brno will duplicate it and the .280....

The 7x57, 257 and 250 Savage actually pick up near 300 FPS and thats a substantial amount, but I still would opt for a 280 Rem caliber or a 25-06 as I always choose a factory round over a wildcat if they duplicate each other...

I do not think the 7x57 needs improving. SO buy a 280.
