I really like mine so far, and am getting 1.25" to 1.5" groups with cheapest factory ammo. As I get into reloading I hope to get about .75" group w/ 140gr bullet. I am wondering where you other guys are finding the sweet spot with this rifle. "I will not raise taxes on those making more than 250k"

for me the best bullet for accuracy are the 140 sierra bt or 140 nosler bil tip. and the most accurate powders i have used are VARGET, 4064, OR RL-15.. I use RL-15.. W-760 works pretty good to.

A couple Tikka T3 tips that should help before you start working up a load. 1. Make sure the barrel is actually free floated. They supposed to be but mine still had a contact point that was causing issues. 2. Lap the rings that came with the gun or get the Optilocks that fit it. 3. Put Blue Loctite (removable kind) on the action bolts and just tighten them to snug. Mine doesn't like those bolts being super tight and I don't think I'm the only one who has experienced this.

thanks for the info, I am planning on using the dednuts single piece scope mount and having the action bedded. Lucky me Last year I bought 8# of Varget at a gun show for $135.00. "I will not raise taxes on those making more than 250k"

The Dednutz is a good idea. That will solve any ringbinding issues handily. As far as bedding the T3 that's gonna be somewhat different. The recoil lug is already "bedded" and part of the stock. A keyway in the action mates to the recoil lug when you assemble the gun. Not saying it can't be done. I'm just curious how. I believe this arrangement could be why my T3 seems sensitive to action bolt tightness. I also believe this is why no one (that I know of anyway) makes an aftermarket stock for the T3.

Manners makes a stock for the T3, Manners stock T3about the bedding I assumed all these rifles could benefit, I don't know a lot about bedding an action. I just read an article on bedding actions and they said you can't glass bed injection molded stocks I wonder if the T3 synthetic stock is injection molded?
