A 8x68 with mild charges have more or less recoil that a 9,3x62?

A chap here wants to change my 30-06 by his 6,5x68 and I was thinking that maybe is an easy work to change the barrel for a 8x68.

The 6,5 with 140 grains partition must be something also eh?

What you think??

Lorenzio the 8 x 68 have a sharp recoil if the stock it-s not well designed you ended with a rifle that you don-t like to shoot , a 6,5 x 68 it-s good one with 125 grians bullets kills like poison , live thsi rifle in 6,5 and start to made a custom with an Argentinean 1909 in 8x68 , with the right stock it-s superb , like a 300 Weatherby with 200 grains .
