This is the orig. ".35 Sambar" built number of yrs ago.

I think its strikes a nice balance between handiness and ballistics. [250gn Woodleigh 2700mv]


I don't like barrels much shorter than 24" on 30/06 based rounds, the .35 Sambar has about a 23"

I certainly would not like the blast from the much shorter barrels on the B&M series of rifles/cartridges.

Yes I built one on a Win Model 70 action a few years ago. Shoots great and have shot deer out to about 400 yards. Can't remember how much velocity I was getting. I shot only 225 Nosler BTs in it. I'll be glad to send you data and might even concider selling it. PM me for data.
